2024 National Championship Event Details

NADD NATIONAL Championship

The purpose of the National Championship is to create a premier dog event where we can highlight the best dogs in each division.

Where and When:

Ozark Empire Fairgrounds
LCQ - October 23rd, 2024
Nationals - October 24-26th, 2024
FCQ - October 27th, 2024

Requirements:

Invites to The National Championship will be available for Nationals in the following order:

Top 3 dogs in each division from the 2023 National Championship ***
Top 5 dogs in each division from the 2023 FCQ ***
2024 Top 3 Regionals Placements in each division
Top 10 overall rankings in each division***
Top 10% over all Regionals by division* (Open, Lap & Veteran)
We will continue to add additional 5% until registration fills.

*top % of each division is based on their best Regionals final score.

***Must attend a regionals to except an invite

ALL invites (including LCQ) must have a minimum of 15/5/5 splashes to accept their National Championship invite. LCQ invite does not require attending a regionals.

Jumping - Division placement for the National Championship will be determined by the dogs season average at the end of the 2024 season (9/08/2024)

Registering for National Championships

Registration for National Championship will be done in a tiered manner this year.
- 8/19/24 - Registration for Nationals will open for dogs that have already earned a Nationals invite **
  - 2023 National Championship top 3 placements
  - 2024 FCQ top 5 placements
  - 2024 Regionals Top 3 placements
  - Guaranteed registration spot if registered BEFORE 9/16. Once we open spots to the top 10% by division your spot is no longer guaranteed.
- 9/10/24 - Registration for 2024 Top 10 in each division **
  - - Guaranteed registration spot if registered BEFORE 9/16. You may register after this date but once we open spots to the top 10% by division your spot is no longer guaranteed.
- 9/16/24 - Registration for the Top 10% by division from all the Regionals combined. Must register by 9/19 to guarantee your spot.You may register after this date but once we open spots additional 5% by division your spot is no longer guaranteed.
- 9/19 If space remains we will open invites to an additional 5%. You will have until 9/22
- 9/30 - Last day to register for Nationals.
  
  This is a prepaid event. Refunds will only be given if a vet note is received by 10/21. (SQ fees are not refundable)

October 23 - Kick off Party 6pm-9pm tickets go on sale in Sept

October 24 - Nationals Splash 1 Distance, Nationals Hydro Dash
October 25 - National Splash 2 Distance, Nationals Air Retrieve

October 26 - Finals, JR Handler, Awards Ceremony
October 27 - 2025 First Chance Qualifier

Finals - you must have a successful score at Nationals to be invited back to finals.
You must have a successful score in finals to place in top 10. No practice in finals

Junior Handlers - Sponsored by Toochic

Junior handlers will jump on pool #1 on Saturday. Placements will be given for the top 5 Jr. Handlers.

Awards

After Finals is finished and scores are double checked on Saturday. (usually around 5pm, but no promises)

Accommodations:

Camping : There is a number of camping spots available at the event site. Registration will open September 1st. Cost per site is approximately $35-55 depending on the site type and amenities. Call 417 - 833 - 2660 to reserve. The fairgrounds handles these reservations independently of NADD. The only way to reserve is through them.
