Maidstone is a quaint town located on the Yellowhead Highway between North Battleford and Lloydminster east to west, and the North Saskatchewan River and Battle Rivers north to south. It is home to the famous Pine Island historical spot, and beautiful scenery surrounding the rivers, lakes and fields! We are located at SE25-48-23W3 in the RM of Eldon Sask, we have a pin on google Maps for Flatlands Kennels north of Maidstone SK, or for written directions, take Highway 21 for 4 miles north of Maidstone SK to Twshp Rd 484 (you will turn right, and head east, but the sign will be on your left). Head east on Twshp Rd 484 for 3 miles (it is paved lite) until you see our facility on the left! You will enter the driveway, take a hard right turn on the lawn before the sign and the pool will be on the east side of the tree row! There is ample parking, and we recommend bringing shade cloths for the morning part of the day. Dry Camping is free on site, however please bring ground cover for exhausts or generators. There will be porta potties on site as well. Maidstone is home to an amazing chinese food restaurant called Sunny's, western food restaurant called Railway Cafe, lunch type restaurant called Rocky's Chili Dawgz, and a hearty home cooked food restaurant in the Maidstone Hotel and Bar. There is also a subway, and two gas stations, one of which serves pizza, deep fried food, ice cream and more! There is another local campground called Delfrari Park with a nice trout pond you can fish in, and washrooms and showers. There are also a number of hotels in Lloydminster that are dog friendly if you don't wish to camp! We look forward to seeing you!
