Event Notes
If you have already earned an invite to Nationals please allow non invited dogs to enter first. This will give folks that do not have an invite a chance to enter their dogs.
Opening date, splash times and splash limits listed are estimates. They may be adjusted as the event fills.
Top 5 dogs in each division will earn an invite to the 2024 National Championship. You MUST still have 15/5/5 splashes in the 2024 season to accept that invite but they do not have to have attended a Regionals.
If one of the five dogs is already registered for Nationals the invite will roll down to the next dog.
This is a special event and has separate rules that apply.
Set run order Z-A (pool assignments will be made once the event closes)
Distance -
- 2 min on the dock
- Must do 3 splashes to be part of the qualifier
- No practice jump for distance
Air Retrieve -
- No practice
- starting no less then 1 ft below your 2024 season average
Hydro Dash
- No practice
- 30 sec attempt time
This event is pre registration only. No Refunds after registration is submitted except for by Vet or Dr note which must be received by 10/21. (minus SQ fees)
There will be NO REFUNDS after the event starts.
National Championship Qualifier
- In order to qualify for Distance Jump, each dog must have a minimum of three splashes completed at this event. We then take the average of the top three jumps from the event for each dog. Only the top 5 dogs in each division will receive an automatic invite to the Showcase.
- Jumps in all the Splashes will count towards your NADD/AKC titles.
- The Air Retrieve and Hydro Dash qualifier will be based on the highest score achieved at the event. In both Open & Lap, the Top 5 Finishers for each division will earn invites.
